About Me

Welcome! My name is Jennie King and I am a UX Designer based in the metro Atlanta area.

In May 2022, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's in Interaction Design and a minor in Technical Communication. In January 2023, I made the decision to continue my UX education and enrolled in a UX boot camp through Digital Crafts. I will complete this program in June 2023 with a certificate in UX Design.

I am passionate about my work and a very empathetic individual. I feel that my empathetic nature allows me to better understand my user's feelings and needs so that I can create a design that is truly user-centered.
My ideal career would be one where I not only get to use my skills in prototyping and design, but also get to interact directly with users through user research and testing.

Outside of UX...

When I am not designing, I am an active volunteer at Trinity Rescue and Equine Sanctuary, a nonprofit 501c3 in Georgia. Not only do I help with and spend time with the horses, but I also run the TikTok account for the farm to raise awareness and funds for equine rescue and care. If I'm not at the rescue, I can often be found on hiking trails or kayaking with my senior dog, Chase. After spending my days behind a desk designing, I love being able to get outside.
